| What
To Bring
On your trip with Taumarunui Canoe
Hire, you will need to bring a range of gear to make your
journey comfortable and safe. Try and keep your supplies as
compact as possible and check out our
trip details page and trips page for
further information.
Please note that you will need warm gear to wear canoeing
as well as if you are camping. Polypropylene/thermal wear
is good as it remains warm when wet and is fast drying. Cotton
is really cold when wet. Make sure you bring an entire change
of clothes as you are bound to get wet!
