At Taumarunui Canoe Hire, we provide a
range of trips from two hours up to five days. We do not
hire to solo or single travelers, so you will need to find
someone else to travel with. We may possibly be able to organize
you with others. Note the rates are per person.

OUR PRICES INCLUDE ALL OF THE FOLLOWING:
- Transport to and from the river;
- 2 Maritime New Zealand Certified Jet Boats on site for
Jet Boat rides or back up just in case they are needed (surcharge
may apply);
- Canoes, life-jackets and waterproof storage barrels -
20L, 30L or 60L and dry bags;
- Spare paddle;
- Full Facility User Passes (Department Of Conservation
Compulsory charge);
- A Barrister Coffee, Cup of Tea or Cold drink on your arrival;
- Light refreshments including baking on pick up or return;
- River Maps are provided (but must be returned at the completion
of the journey);
- Vehicles can be stored safely at the Farm base of Taumarunui
Canoe Hire, Free of Charge;
- TCH provide you with a safety briefing, instructions
and a practice before you depart on your journey;
- Bow rope is provided (each canoe must be tied up at night)
All prices include Goods and Service Tax.
