Taumarunui Canoe Hire and Jet Boat Tours are located on our Farm, 3 Kilometres West of Taumarunui Township.
If you are travelling South from Auckland, Hamilton or Waitomo:
To reach us, drive into Taumarunui Township, turn right at the Railway Station/Information Centre, follow the road through the Stop sign, and travel over the Bridge. Turn right when the Road ends. This is called Hikumutu Road. Taumarunui Canoe Hire and Jet Boat Tours is 3 Kilometres up the Road, with a Gold Letter Box and number 292 on it. Follow the Drive way up to the Top.
If you are Travelling North from the South Island, Wellington, or the Mountain:

TAUMARUNUI is in the
Centre of the North Island being close to Mt. Ruapehu, Mt
Ngauruhoe and Mt. Tongariro.
It is only four hours drive from Wellington
on State Highway 4, and three and a half hours drive from
Auckland.
The nearest large centres are Taupo, Hamilton and Whanganui
(or Wanganui), all about two hours drive away.
Intercity buses service Taumarunui
daily, and a free pickup service is available by arrangement.
