Taumarunui Canoe Hire and Jet Boat Tours can provide both unguided or Maori guided canoe trips, through the many rapids and remote long gorges of native bush and scenic landscape in the central north island of New Zealand. We are located 3 Kilometres West of Taumarunui overlooking the Whanganui River on 25 Acres of Farmland. Almost anyone can enjoy one of our canoeing or kayaking adventures on the Whanganui River (sometimes spelt as Wanganui River) with its majestic gorges and lush bush. Our customers have included families and beginner paddlers, people well over retirement age and more adventurous paddlers. Many have never canoed, rafted or camped before but thoroughly enjoy their canoeing or kayaking trip and find it well within their capabilities.Careful instruction and training is provided. Your comfort and enjoyment is our main priority and we have a range of equipment and canoes to suit every one. The emphasis is on relaxation and fun, all in a unique setting.
